Here's a nice four bedroom greystone in Bucktown that has been updated, but still has a lot of character, and can be had for under a million bucks—just one hundred dollars shy of the the big seven digit figure. Just check out the front door, the window sills in the main living room and the old built-in in the dining room. Considering that there is so much teardown and new construction activity in the neighborhood, it's nice to see a home that is totally livable and family-friendly but yet also very classic Chicago. It's even got a lower level that's above grade, a nice sized backyard and a two car garage. Here's a new rule for sellers: If you leave your built-ins alone, you'll sell your home.
