FULTON MARKET/IRVING PARK—A lawsuit filed in Cook County Court is attempting to remove longtime acclaimed progressive chef Homaro Cantu from his signature restaurant Moto and take a piece of his new cafe Berrista.
AROUND TOWN—The finalists for the 2015 James Beard Awards are in, and they include white-hot Avondale restaurant Parachute, One Off Hospitality partner Donnie Madia, and Boarding House chef Tanya Baker. The ceremony happens in Chicago on May 4.
