The Tribune reports that Seymour H. Persky, a famed local preservationist who made a fortune rehabbing old building in Chicago and Evanston, passed away at 92. Among many things, he's known for preserving the Charnley-Persky House and selling it to the Society of Architectural Historians. [Tribune]
