Meet These Frank Lloyd Wright Designed Homes in Person

This May, Frank Lloyd Wright admirers will have the chance to get up close and personal with several homes designed by the Prairie School pioneer. The 2015 edition of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust's Wright Plus Housewalk will feature residences in suburban Oak Park and Riverside and allow attendees to explore the interiors of some of Wright's most famous homes, as well as residences designed by other noted Prairie style architects. Several of the homes featured in this year's housewalk are new entries, including the Avery Coonley Residence, the Thorncroft Residence (designed by William Drummond) and Ernest Hemingway's boyhood home (designed by Henry G. Fiddelke). And of course, no housewalk of Wright's designs in Oak Park would be complete without a stop by the architect's personal home and studio. For those who want to go even further, the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust will even bus you out to Kankakee or Racine, Wisconsin to see more of Wright's work.
