Blackhawks' Niklas Hjalmarsson Lists Riverfront Townhouse

New, 4 comments

Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson is looking to unload his townhouse in the River West neighborhood, the Tribune has reported. Known as the "Swedish Missile Defense System," the 27 year old Swede purchased the house in 2010 for $1.3 million but has listed it this week with a $1.695 million ask. The 4,000 square foot four bedroom home was built in 2000 and sits right up against the Chicago River. No word on where Hjalmarsson is moving to next but the Stanley Cup winner will be in Chicago for at least the next few years.
