An official sales website and several MLS listings have appeared for Smithfield Properties' River North condo project at 400 W Huron. Though it wasn't popular with the neighbors in attendance at the project's public unveiling last year, the 26 unit development appears to be moving along. The sales website for the luxury condo building boasts amities like high-end appliances and individual heated garages, while the handful of MLS listings have prices ranging from $1.3M to $2.15M, leading us to believe that these units probably aren't meant for art school students. Condos have been one of the slowest segments of the current development boom, but because condos and River North go together like ham and brie there's definitely a chance this building will sell out before construction even begins. We don't know when construction crews will arrive on-site, but the listings claim the homes would be move-in ready in 2016.
