Due to permitting troubles, a developer's plan to bring a new hotel to the Loop has been put on hold. The developer reworking the 12 story building at 168 N. Michigan Ave. needs to assure the city that the windows in its 156 hotel rooms won't be blocked by the neighboring Crain Communications Building. If this can't be done, the Hotel Indigo plan could be scrapped. [Crain's]
