Chicago Bears' Matt Forte Lists Turreted Suburban Mansion

In December, Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte spent over $4 million for a ginormous home within city limits, and now he's looking to unload his almost equally large mansion in the suburbs. Located way out in the northwest suburb of Mettawa, the five bedroom, six and a half bathroom home was built in 2005 and sits on a wooded five acre lot. Designed in the French Provincial style, the listing does not reveal interior photos but states that the 6,000 square foot home sports high end finishes that include rosewood floors, custom millwork, a stone bar, a home theater and a koi pond out back. The home listed last Friday for $1.599 million.
