In case you've missed it, there is a flurry of construction activity happening throughout Chicago and well over a dozen downtown highrises on their way. And while developers are building apartment and hotel towers at a breakneck pace, very few tall condo projects are under construction. One of those few projects that are currently in the works is 4 East Elm, a tower of spacious, high end units. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the 25 story tower will contain only 35 condos. And they won't come cheap either with prices ranging from $2.1 million to $7.2 million. The tower still has a ways to go, but it's well on its way to joining the Gold Coast's skyline.
