Vintage Two Bed in Heart of Lincoln Square Wants $1,400/mo.

New, 11 comments

With rents in West Town, Wicker Park and Logan Square getting out of control in the last couple of years, a lot of renters are beginning to look elsewhere. And although neighborhoods like Humboldt Park, Pilsen, Avondale and Albany Park are experiencing some growing pains from gentrification, other neighborhoods have been staying the steady course for many years. Lincoln Square may not have the buzzy nightlife scene that Wicker Park and Logan Square are known for, but it's still a solid North Side neighborhood that has plenty of decent rentals with decent rates. Take for instance this two bedroom in a classic two flat. It's asking $1,400 per month and it's very close to everything in the neighborhood. It might not be for everyone, but for those who dig the charm of vintage Chicago residential flats, this might just be the ticket.
