A new single family home development coming to the far-north Sauganash community is on its way. Last Friday, developer K. Hovnanian Homes and Alderman Maragaret Laurino hosted a ceremonial grounbreaking for the upcoming 35 home project, DNAinfo reports, however work won't kick into high gear until next month. The project has been in the works for many years, but faced delays due to the recession that dealt a major blow to the real estate industry and also due to former Blagojevich fundraiser and adviser Tony Rezko's involvement. The homes will range from $700,000-$900,000, and come in several different flavors. Sales will begin this summer.
