Another Brewpub is on Its Way to Milwaukee Avenue

New, 1 comment

A new brewpub project from the Owen and Engine team have been given the go-ahead to move forward in a former industrial space on Milwaukee Avenue in Logan Square. According to the renovation permit, the building at 2515 N. Milwaukee Ave. will receive a complete gut job with a new floor plan and even a residential unit. The permit estimates that the cost of the project will be around $1.5 million — which only adds to the growing list of construction projects for the neighborhood. The new brewpub will be called Bixi Brewery and according to a report from Eater Chicago back in January, the team had originally targeted a late 2015 opening for the brewpub.
