Jimmy Butler's River North Mansion Now Sports This Boombox-Shaped Fish Tank

New, 9 comments

When you have tons of money, the sky's the limit when it comes to eccentric interior decor as the Chicago Bulls' Jimmy Butler has certainly shown. The shooting guard recently teamed up with the crew from Animal Planet's Tanked to create a boom box-shaped aquarium for the River North mansion he dropped $4.3 million on in September. According to the Tribune, the aquarium weighs 6,000 pounds, stands at nine feet tall and holds 600 gallons of water. The tank will contain 50 fish — a number that honors the Chicago Bulls' 50th anniversary. The boombox design is no fluke either, as the aquarium does have a wireless speaker system built into the top so that Butler and his fish can enjoy some tunes while lounging at home.
