Brooklyn Bowl for Fulton Market Scores Another Big Permit

New, 12 comments

The upcoming Brooklyn Bowl complex for Fulton Market is well on its way. Back in July, the development received a permit to start on some demolition work on one section of the facility at 832-856 W. Fulton Market, however, as of this week, the project has made another big leap forward. On Monday, the city issued a new construction permit for a three-story mixed-use building at 302 N. Green Street — the second section of the large complex. The permit estimates the value of this part of the project to be $20 million. And perhaps surprisingly, considering West Loopers' disdain towards nearly anything that is proposed for the area, the project has been well received by residents who attended the most recent meeting for the proposal. Give it a few more months, but it'll soon be time to polish your bowling shoes and get ready to knock out some pins in Fulton Market.
