Here's another lovely house from the brothers Keck in north suburban Glencoe. The pair designed at least a couple dozen homes in the North Shore suburb in the '50s, however, many have been lost to demolition or extensive remodeling over the decades. This Ranch house was built during their heyday in 1953 and still has a very retro vibe to it. Of course, the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated since it was built, but fans of paneled wood will dig this one. Just for comparison, a three bedroom, one and a half bathroom house from Keck & Keck listed for $499,000 in June and sold for $445,000 in September. This one has a bit more room and the asking price reflects that. It enters the market with a $789,000 price tag.
