The second community meeting for the supertall Vista Tower plan will be held next week. On Monday, October 26 starting at 6 p.m., Alderman Brendan Reilly and members of the development team will meet at the Fairmont Chicago Hotel to discuss the plan and take questions from residents in the community. The first meeting was held back in April, where the public was first (formally) introduced to the plan and a presentation from Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang. There have been a couple of updates since the last meeting, notably the launch of pre-sales and the release of renderings for the tower's condos. As previously proposed, the tower is expanded to stand about 1,200 feet tall, making it Chicago's third tallest tower.
