Reel Update: TV Series Empire Home Is Back on the Market

New, 3 comments

The home made famous by the Fox TV series Empire has an interesting story in real life, too, it seems. After being taken off the market last week, it's now back like a repeat episode. Let's see how the plot is unfolding.

This literally larger than life property, clocking in at 20,000 s.f., has an ongoing saga.

Now that it's up for sale, the price is down. Again. The ask is now $12.945 million, cut from the last price of $13.5 million, and chopped from the original price of $15.9 million.

This Barrington home of Sam Cecola, owner of Chicago's Admiral Theatre strip club, will certainly have more plot twists. Given that Cecola had to move on from his home because of tax fraud, there seems to be some strings attached to this property (and possibly the mob) that are larger than life.

Stay tuned.
