Last ACTIVATE Pop-Up Happens at Wabash Arts Corridor Crawl

[photos of past events courtesy of Chicago Loop Alliance]

The Chicago Loop Alliance's ACTIVATE placemaking series, which uses pop-up parties and art installations to attract people to underutilized alleys and spaces in the Loop, is hosting their final event at Harrison Street Alley on October 23 at 5-10PM. This event, titled :Delighted, is inspired by the United Nations, who declared 2015 as "The International Year of Light."

In accordance with the theme, there will be art installations that emanate light, such as projections and interactive sculptures. If you haven't made it to any of the events this summer, this is your chance. To sweeten the incentive, you can get a free drink ticket just for an online RSVP. Get directions here.

This event will happen at the Wabash Arts Corridor Crawl, clustered along Wabash Ave and Michigan Ave. and with public art, music performances, gallery openings, architecture tours, and menu offerings. So the probability of having a great time is high.
