Two Chicago Investors Bought Downtown Milwaukee USPS

New, 1 comment

Chicago real estate players think big, even beyond city borders. Two city players in particular. R2 Cos., in a joint venture with Polsky Holdings, bought the downtown Milwaukee U.S. Postal Service building property for $13.05 million. R2 currently owns and operates more than 1.5 million s.f. of real estate in Chicago and the Midwest.

The long-term redevelopment plan may be mixed use, involving a grocery store, retail, offices and housing. It's R2 Cos.' second Milwaukee acquisition, though it has a large portfolio in Chicago.
