The Tri-Taylor neighborhood is about to get a major shot in the arm with a new residential development that anticipates bringing 150 residences across a five acre parcel. The new Eco Square planned development from Eco Development will be comprised of 31 single family homes, 59 town homes and 60 smaller condo/apartment type units. And as the name suggests, the developer is hyping the project's green aspects—primarily the homes' high efficiency mechanicals and insulation, which should cut down on utility costs for homeowners. One row of single family homes is already complete and ready for sale, and the remaining single family homes are expected to be delivered by the end of the year. Located near Douglas Park, the development's single family homes will each have four bedrooms, three bathrooms and start around $419,000.
