Are Chicago's bids for the Obama Presidential Library really in trouble? Crain's Greg Hinz suggests that the Obama Foundation isn't so much frustrated with Chicago's bids as much as it just wants to deal with City Hall and not the Chicago Park District on the proposed sites for the museum. Advocacy group Friends of the Parks is trying to prevent the city from using public land for the project but City Hall will likely have to take ownership of the land if the bids are expected to compete.
