A First Look at the Proposed New Loyola Hotel in Rogers Park

New, 5 comments

While it's not the hotel reveal that everyone was expecting today, Loyola's plans for a new hotel at Sheridan Road and Albion Avenue moved on step closer after renderings were revealed at a meeting held by Ald. Joe Moore. The new render maintains the previously mentioned green roof and ground floor retail, as well as the fifth-story terrace and event space with lake views. The plans for the proposed Hampton Inn also ask for a reduction in the parking requirements for the site, from 60 to 30, which sounds a lot like a Transit-Oriented Development proposal. Future Rambler parents, this may be your new stop in Chicago for any upcoming school visits.
