Everything about this home screams '60s modernism - well, everything except the leopard print carpet in the bedroom. But the leopard print really contributes to the Flintstones vibe the home naturally has. Built in 1966, this three bedroom, three bathroom home in Park Ridge truly is unique, and probably was mind blowing at the time it was completed. There's a really cool little indoor water fountain, a very modernist stone fireplace, and of course, a kitchen that doesn't match at all. The bedroom is really quite magical though with its curved walls, recessed lights and leopard print carpet. According to the listing, the home was "designed by architect Ballisimo", which did not seem to ring a bell. The home has just hit the market for $1.15 million.
UPDATE: A commenter has pointed out that the mystery "architect Ballisimo" who designed this home is actually Salvatore J. Balsamo.
