The Chicago River Corridor is Abuzz with Construction

Harry Carmichael

The Chicago River Corridor is buzzing with construction activity, with at least four major projects underway right this very second. Construction crews can spotted along the Chicago Riverwalk, at Wolf Point, and across the river over at 150 N Riverside and at 444 W Lake Street. The new River Point and 150 N Riverside towers will bring new office space to the corridor, and Wolf Point's West Tower will deliver 500 new apartments along the river. In a few years, the confluence area of the Chicago River at and around Wolf Point will look dramatically different with the new towers and an extended Riverwalk. For now, construction crews will continue putting the pieces together to make these structures a reality.
