After a multiple previous attempts to dump his Riverwoods digs, former Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin has relisted his suburban home at a higher price of $1.7495 million dollars. Chamberlin, who rose to prominence in the '90s as the backbone of Chicago-based alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins, has lived in his 10,000 square foot Riverwoods home since 2008. In May 2011, the home was listed for $1.649 million, but was later delisted in October. The following April, the home was relisted at the same price, but after only a few short weeks, it was pulled from the market. The five bedroom, six and a half bathroom home was built in 2006 and is set on a 1.77 acre lot. Chamberlin no longer bangs on the drums with Billy Corgan these days, but is certainly remembered for his work with the Pumpkins.
