Over the last couple of weeks, Chicago has been engulfed in Jackie Robinson West fever, as the South Side team went all the way to win the national Little League championship. Though JRW fell short at the Little League World Series championship game, the team has been one of the most celebrated sports victories in Chicago in years. Yesterday, the city held a parade and rally for the Morgan Park-based team, which completed packed Millennium Park with exuberant fans.
