Landmark Myron Bachman House Lists for $599,000

New, 2 comments

The landmarked Myron Bachman House designed by eccentric American architect Bruce Goff is up for grabs for $599,000. Designed for recording engineer Myron Bachman, Goff took a home that was built in 1890 and completely reshaped it with corrugated aluminum. At the time that the 2,400 square foot home was overhauled in 1948, it certainly looked quite spacey at the time, and even still looks quite unconventional. Although online listing records don't show when it last sold, or for how much, it is certainly a unique and rare home - although it's definitely not going to be for everyone. The home has not quite hit the MLS just yet, so there aren't any photos but you can hit up the listing agent here for a tour.
