State of Disrepair

Chicago Tonight hosted Chicago Tribune architecture critic Blair Kamin recently to discuss some of the Loop's newest buildings, but also to highlight the bad shape of the Thompson Center. Designed by Chicago's own Helmut Jahn, the building serves as the "de facto capitol" of the state, but has rust on its exterior columns, dirty windows and in some places, has duct tape holding carpets together.
