Would You Pay $1195/mo. for This 650ft² Space in Pilsen?

New, 13 comments

Slowly going the way of Logan Square, Humboldt Park and the other Chicago neighborhoods that have gentrified over the last few years, some say that Pilsen is poised to become the Windy City's next "hot" neighborhood. With a location near the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Chicago Arts District, the neighborhood has to be ripe for gentrification, right? Well, if you take a look around at the neighborhood's vast inventory of rentals, you may not be too surprised to see that affordable apartments can still easily be had. However, rentals aimed at artists and work-from-home types are going for quite a bit more. Take for instance this 650 square foot space at Halsted and 19th. Sure, the location is pretty great for Pilsen, but would you pay $1,195 per month to occupy this abode? Let us know in the comments section.
