The West Loop's much anticipated Soho House Hotel will be officially opening on August 11, exactly two weeks from today. Located in the former Chicago Belting Factory warehouse, the new hotel will include 40 guest rooms, three ground level restaurants, a spa and a members only club floor that will feature a bar and restaurant. At the top of the old warehouse, the trendy hotel will feature a 60 foot pool with al fresco dining. The London-based hotelier and private club announced that they would open a location in the West Loop over two years ago, and hinted an August opening earlier this year. Rooms are expected to start off at $160 per night, and the hotel/club is now accepting applications for membership, which starts at $1,000.
