METROsquash Ready to Build New $5M Facility In Woodlawn

Hyde Park based nonprofit organization METROsquash is ready to break ground on its new 21,000 square foot facility in Woodlawn, just around the corner from the University of Chicago's campus. The organization utilizes the racquet sport squash to help Chicago Public School students with athletic and academic performance. METROsquash received its building permit last week, and the new Nagle Hartray-designed facility is expected to cost just shy of $5 million. Grab your racquets South Siders, and get ready for more squash than you can shake a stick, er, racquet at.
