AMLI's New South Loop Lofts Starts Pre-Leasing

New, 4 comments

It may seem like AMLI Residential's River North tower only just finished, but their South Loop complex is rounding the final bend as well. The two-building, 11-story, 398-unit apartment project still under construction at Clark and Polk is now accepting pre-leases. Titled AMLI Lofts, the LEED Silver building has an exposed brick and concrete aesthetic in most units, and includes some of the most hotly sought-after amenities for renters like gigabit broadband hookups, balconies, quartz countertops, private dog park, a heated pool and outdoor grilling/party area, and a gym with included yoga studio.

Located toward the northeast corner of the South Loop, the location could qualify as being part of the Printer's Row neighborhood depending on where you consider the boundaries. With its mix of college students, young professionals, and families of all ages, the Printer's Row area is perhaps the most vibrant areas of the up-and-coming South Loop, and is arguably the birthplace of the warehouse-loft conversion movement.

The development also includes 5,000 square feet of retail space nestled tightly against Clark Street, which could be a hot commodity as vacant Printer's Row retail space has been disappearing steadily.

AMLI Lofts has its temporary leasing office in the AMLI 900 building right next door.
