Construction of the new two building development near State and Chestnut has started making some big progress. Introduced last February by Newcastle Ltd., the development includes a 10 story building that will become the home of Loyola's Quinlan School of Business and a 35 story rental tower next door. The tower received its construction permits in August, and work began shortly after. Once completed, the Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) designed the glass tower will feature 367 rental units, 3,200 square feet of ground level retail and 185 parking space. Newcastle plans to have the tower open by next Spring.
