The Robert P. Parker House's recent price chop has apparently done the trick, as the famous Frank Lloyd Wright designed home is now under contract. The four bedroom Oak Park home was listed in March for $825,000, and received two price cuts since. Only a week after taking its most recent price cut, the home is now slated to exchange hands for $775,000. Having been meticulously restored, the home was a prime example of early Wright work. In addition to its excellent condition, the 2,661 square foot home has some historic value, being one of Wright's infamous bootleg homes, which were independent commissions Wright took on while he was still employed by Adler and Sullivan. There are still a couple of Wright homes on the market at the moment, but we didn't think it would take long for this Prairie gem to be scooped up.
