After nearly two months of anticipation, the John Hancock Center has officially announced that its new TILT attraction will be opening to the public on May 10. In case you're unfamiliar, TILT is basically a big glass box of windows that can fit up to eight people as it tilts downward 1,000 feet above Mag Mile. And boy, does it look pretty frightening. The attraction is a part of the Hancock Center's reconceptualized and redesigned observation deck called 360 Chicago, which is poised to contend with the Willis Tower's Skydeck for tourist dollars. The introductory price for the attraction is only $5, but people with heart conditions may want to skip out on this one.
