The Chicago Loop Alliance has officially kicked off its installation art/placemaking events series ACTIVATE that will turn alleys and other underused spaces in the Loop into "pop-up urban experiences". The idea is to promote exploration of the Loop, which is quickly emerging as one of the fastest growing residential areas in Chicago. [Tribune]
