[The former Ashland bridge was reinstalled along Western Avenue]
Nearly two weeks after the restored Ashland bridge found itself a new home along Western and Bloomingdale avenues as a part of The 606 trail, the city has released a pretty sweet time lapse video showing the huge 70 foot hunk of metal rolling through Wicker Park and being installed at its destination. In the video, Rahm talks about how excited folks are for the 606, and that real estate agents are listing homes along the trail as fast as they can get their hands on them. No doubt, folks are excited for the nearly three mile trail, and so far the city has been working at a breakneck pace to get it completed and opened by the end of the year.
