From frigid temperatures, to massive snow falls, to a plethora potholes, this past winter broke all kinds of previous records in Chicago. The city is currently dealing with a record number of pothole damage claims, and attempting to fill the worst holes as quickly as possible and to illustrate how bad the problem really is, this incredible time lapse map from CartoDB user reporterel shows where all the potholes hit the city, in the order they were reported to 311. The map covers six months worth of data, with days passing by in seconds.
