Architect John Mills' Winnetka Mansion Back On The Market

New, 2 comments

This incredible Winnetka manse has led an interesting life, but begins a new chapter by heading back to the market for $7.495 million. Originally listed in 2012 for $7.995 million, the home has bounce on and off the market a couple of times since. The 6,350 square foot mansion was built in 1928 and owned by noted architect John Mills. The original plan was to build three colossal lakefront homes next to each other for Mills' family, however once the depression hit, the Mills moved on despite building all three mansions. Sporting all kinds of incredible features like two master suites, two wine cellars, and an underground garage, perhaps the best feature of the home is its vast backyard with incredible lakefront views.
