The Chicago Design Museum has just confirmed that it will be calling The Loop's Block Thirty Seven its new permanent home. The organization featured its annual exhibition at the downtown mall last year, but now plans to create a permanent, year-round design gallery and archive space on the third floor of Block Thirty Seven. The museum will be moving into a 5,000 square foot space and plans to open on June 12, in time for their summer exhibition which will explore the last century in design.
