Chicago's Committee on Zoning has approved plans to construct a 14 pad heliport in Bridgeport. The $12.5 million proposal also includes a 17,500 square foot hangar, a terminal and an aircraft fueling station. The heliport has been the subject of debate in Pilsen and Bridgeport over concerns of noise that it could potentially create. [Sun-Times]
