The Loop's much anticipated 60 story apartment tower at 111 West Wacker Drive is on schedule for a July opening, and has just started pre-leasing units. Now dubbed OneEleven, the previously stalled-out project formerly referred to as Waterview Tower was scooped up by Related Midwest in September 2011. Designed by Handel Architects, the tall riverfront LEED Silver tower will boast 504 apartments, which will start at $1,600 per month for a unit. Related reps say that the units will feature nine to ten foot tall ceilings, and the building will contain a two level club that will offer lots of lounging space, billiards, screening rooms, a fitness center and sizable swimming pool. Pooches will also live the luxury lifestyle, and will be able to stay active using the building's indoor play area or outdoor dog run.
