Chicago Athletic Association Hotel Overhaul Making Progress

New, 3 comments

Caged in scaffoldings, the much anticipated Roman and Williams-designed hotel in the former Chicago Athletic Association building is making major progress. The landmark Venetian-Gothic building completed in 1893 is currently undergoing a complete interior and exterior renovation, and is slated to open as a yet-unnamed hotel later this year. John Pritzker and AJ Capital are behind the development of the new 240 room hotel, and once completed, the former Chicago Athletic Association building on Michigan Avenue is expected to be one of the swankiest hotels in the city.
