Curbed recently stopped by the West Loop's latest entry to the boutique hospitality scene, the Soho House Hotel, to get an update on the hotel's construction. The highly anticipated Soho House is slated for an August opening and will contain 40 guest rooms and three ground level restaurants. The latest venture from the London-based private members club will also have exclusive members only areas, and to access these spots, would-be members have to complete a somewhat tedious application process. Once completed, the swanky member's club floor will feature a glass enclosed rooftop bar and an outdoor deck with an 80 foot swimming pool. Rooms at the Soho House are expected to start around $160 per night. The rapidly transforming West Loop will also feature a new hotel and restaurant venture from Nobu Hospitality, which expects a 2016 opening.
