Streeterville's skyline is beginning to look much different now that the Loews Hotel Tower is taking shape. The planned 52 story tower hasn't been topped off just yet was recently topped out, and looks like it is tantalizing near its final shape. Slated for a January 2015 opening, the goliath hotel will feature 400 guest rooms, including 36 suites, a restaurant, an outdoor rooftop with a pool and 25,000 square feet of meeting space. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB), the tall glass tower will also contain 390 luxury apartments when it is completed.
