Since the huge snowstorm that brought 23 inches of snow to Chicago, crews from the Chicago Department of Transportation have filled 240,000 potholes. This past winter's record cold temps and snow has made the city's pothole situation more than just a patch and repair problem, as the cash poor City Hall has been hit with hundreds of vehicle damage claims due to the pothole-ridden roads.
