Here's a Lovely Map Showing Where Chicagoans Like to Run

New, 1 comment

All polar vortices aside, people in Chicago enjoy being outside, and this map created by Flowing Data (a site that makes infographics) shows exactly where people like to run in Chicago. In this map, a bold line runs along the lakefront trail, the most obvious choice for runners, bicyclists and tourists who want to experience the city's longest path dedicated to recreation. Lincoln Park, Lakeview and the South Loop are also hot spots for runners. Besides being fun to look at, Flowing Data believes that maps like this could be useful to urban planners. Where's your favorite place to run in Chicago dear reader?
