Former Cubs left fielder and heavy hitter Alfonso Soriano has knocked it out of the park with the sale of his River North condo for a major league $2.905 million. The Cubs traded Soriano to the New York Yankees last July as a part of the dismantling rebuilding strategy for the team. Soriano's former 3,828 square foot three bedroom, three bathroom penthouse pad was listed for sale last September for $2.95 million. The condo features floor to ceiling windows, fireplace, a wine cellar and a marble entryway. Check out Curbed's previous coverage on Soriano's pad for more photos.
