Brutally Cold Winter Affected January Home Sales

January's multiple polar vortex appearances and massive snow fall kept homebuyers inside and away from their potential new home. According to data, home values continue to rise this year, but home sales in the metro area have slumped by ten percent. Although not a dramatic drop, it's a pretty clear indicator that some people prefer not to home shop in subzero temperatures (shocker, we know).
