Ice Skating at Maggie Daley Park Officially Opens This Saturday

New, 21 comments

The Chicago Park District is doing the city yet another solid by delivering one more new public outdoor space before the year ends. The new ice skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park in the north end of Grant Park will open to the public this Saturday, the Tribune is reporting. Opening exactly one week after the new Grant Park skate park opened, admission to the ice skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park will be free, however skate rentals will cost $12. The new park has come a long way since last winter when it looked like the makings of a giant igloo, however the actual park still has a little ways to go before it will be open to the public.
